I covenant to do my part to keep Chalice and our community in good health as I return to Chalice Unitarian Universalist Congregation.

I understand I have a role in the fight against COVID-19 and commit to responsible actions and to being an accountable Chalice congregant.

I covenant to uphold our UU Principles by demonstrating personal integrity, respecting others, and supporting Chalice by following public health guidelines in place to help protect myself and others:

• Wearing a face mask on campus when requested


• Physical distancing


• Washing hands and / or using hand sanitizer frequently


• Protecting myself and others in high-traffic areas of campus or situations where physical distancing isn’t possible


• Adhering to capacity limits in social situations to prevent high-spread scenarios


• Notifying the Minister or the Office Administrator as soon as possible when I have tested positive for COVID-19 within five days after attending an in-person event at Chalice, so that the Chalice community can be alerted to possible exposure.


• Following the CDC's current guidelines on what to do after "close contact." I understand that what is "current" may change over time, and I will follow whatever guidelines are in place at the time of any exposure incident.


• Modifying my actions and encouraging others to do the same as guidelines and recommendations adapt over time


• Staying home when I or any member of my household experience cold- or flu-like symptoms

By making this covenant to keep the congregation in good health, I accept responsibility for myself and my actions and will do my best to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
